August 25th Congress
I'm leaving on holidays tomorrow (gone until August 23) and will have very limited internet access (if at all).
I know it's early but thought I would start this thread.
I'd like to run again in BC.
Also many of you know I did up a bunch of election numbers in the last election. I've sent those docs to Addy so you can bug him if would like a peek.
Until then, have fun.

Re: August 25th Congress
I would like to run and I'll run wherever the party needs me!
I know it's stupid early but if I could be told by the 16th where to go? The reason being that I don't know the kind of access I'll have from the 17th to 27th (going to be on the road).

Re: August 25th Congress
I'll run wherever I'm needed, if I can make opposing SVTs scramble like I did last month in PEI I should be OK to go wherever. Just give me atleast notice to prepare in that zone. PEI results last month 13-10-7, the region had like 10 ppl living in it. =P

EPIC eyes see all... EPICally.
Good luck, CPF. I've never been big on partisan politics (even when I was CNC PP, thrice). I'm just interested in good, active eCanadians getting a chance to do their thing. I'll be one of the leading voices in the EPIC war room, so if there's anything you'd like to work together on, just give me a shout.
I'd rather see one of you cool cats get in, than a 2-clicker that just happens to be flying EPIC colours.
Stay sexy, eCanada.

Re: August 25th Congress
Thanks for the sentiments Greg.
Alias, I'm very thankful that you joined the party out of genuine interest and as a favour at my request.
The membership is looking forward to you leading us in the halls of congress. Please run in Ontario.
I was hoping that this thread wouldn't start until after PP however since the cat is out of the bag, I feel strongly about going back to the one candidate per region approach with a second candidate in large regions. Large used to be defined as Q5 hospitals however I suggest that large is now approximately 1,000 people.
We have always had trouble in Quebec and we had our best success there when we ran only one candidate and a blocker or a sponsor from the UN.
BC = 477, one candidate, one blocker
Alberta = 1357, two candidates
Saskatchewan = 94, one candidate, one blocker
Manitoba = 266, one candidate, one blocker
Ontario = 2346, two candidates
Quebec = 1770, one candidate, one blocker
New Brunswick = 124, one candidate, one blocker
Nova Scotia = 167, one candidate, one blocker
PEI = 142, one candidate, one blocker
Newfoundland = 103, one candidate, one blocker
Nunavut = 212, one candidate, one blocker
Northwest Territory = 151, one candidate, one blocker
Yukon = 82, one candidate, one blocker
North East of England = 207, one candidate, one blocker
Northern Ireland = 85, one candidate, one blocker
Scotland = 351, one candidate, one blocker
13 + 2 = 15 candidates in canadian regions, 11 blockers required.
Personally, I think it would send a strong message if we got 11 of these 15 candidates in.
There would be 3 more candidates running in conquered regions, I'd like to get at least one of ours in.

Re: August 25th Congress
As always, I think going for 2 in some regions is good no one ever listens, but it shall remain my opinion. Also, the newer regions will have super low competition. We should get one (or two) in in all three.

Which two?
I can see merit in BC.

Re: August 25th Congress
BC is competitive, more than 1 is suicide (afaik)
I'll have to look at some stats to say which is best, but its definitely a good idea. My suggestion is run some blockers as potential candidates. will look into it more after PP

Re: August 25th Congress
I'd really like to run, whether if it's only blocker.
I failed to get into the ballot last month (BUG), and on June, I was 2 votes short.
If the party needs me, I'll apply for Canadian citizenship again coz I still got my Croatian.
CPF Congress please accept my application!

I don't want to run but I'll be open to any voting strategy that is being considered. As always my vote will go to a needed CPF candidate
