CPF Electoral Rules

Section 1: Country President

1. No Citizen may be qualified for nomination for being a CPF candidate for CP without having first been a member of the Party "in game" for 30 days prior to the Federal election (5th of the month). This is to secure against "parachute candidates".

1a. ALL prospective CP candidates must also be registered on these CPF Forums to be considered eligible for CPF nomination.

1b. Article 1 is rendered null and void in the event that the CPF selects to endorse a non CPF Member for our CP nomination.


Section 2: Party President

2. ANY candidate for Party President who wishes to be eligible for Official Party President Candidate status must be a member of these CPF Forums.

2a. ANY candidate for Party President, to be considered eligible for Official Party President Candidate status must first have been a CPF Party Member "In Game" for no fewer than 15 days.


Section 3: Congress

3. ALL candidates for Congress who run under the CPF banner agree, by virtue of their candidacy to remit 2 gold to the CPF Org when they are elected. Candidates who do not succeed in being elected are not required to remit anything.

3a. Any candidate who fails to remit the 2 gold will automatically become ineligible to run for congress the following term.

3b. Any candidate who wishes to run for Congress for the CPF, but has yet to comply with article 3 has until the 20th of the month prior to the election date in question to remit overdue remittance of 2 gold, should they wish to run for Congress. Failure to comply shall enable the sitting Party President to excerise Presidential perogative and may choose any course of action in regard to the candidacy as he or she deems appropriate without explanation or redress to the candidate(s) in question.

3c. ALL candidates who wish to run for Congress under the CPF banner MUST work for CPF Oil (Oil Company), or CPF Air (Moving Ticket Company) to be eligible for Official candidate status. Any candidate who does not comply will NOT be given SVT priority, and is not to be considered as an Official candidate for Congress, and may be deselected as a candidate for Congress at the sole discretion of the sitting Party President without explanation or redress.

3d. Members of the Crimson Canucks are not obligated to work in any CPF company in order to qualify for Official Candidate (for Congress) status. The Crimson Canucks have agreed in principle to furnish Moving Tickets to the CPF Org. The number of Moving Tickets to be furnished is to be solely determined by the sitting Party President, and to be complied with by Crimson Canuck leadership. Failure to comply will result in the Crimson Canuck Candidate being subject to article 3c. Crimson Canuck candidates must also comply with article 3.

3e. Citizens of non Top 5 Political Parties who wish to be sponsored by the CPF, by virtue of running under our banner for Congress are obligated to comply with articles 3, 3a, 3b, & 3c.


Section 4: Definitions

4. "CPF Org" the Official Canadian Progressive Front Party "in game" Organization. This Organziation can be found HERE. (click the word 'HERE', highlighted in red colour)

4a. "Official Candidate". This applies to the Country President, Party President and Congress candidates. To be eligible for this status, you must comply with all CPF Electoral Rules. This designation signifies to the Party Membership that you are recognized as a bona fide candidate in a given electoral process. This status cannot be granted by ANYONE, but can only be achieved by virtue of complying to CPF Electoral Rules. In the event a conflict arises, the sitting Party President reserves the right to hold a Party referendum, with majority consent of the CPF Privy Council, provided there is no conflict of interest (Party President elections, or if the sitting Party President desires to run for CP)

4b. "In game". This refers to any given property of eRepublik.com, upon which these forums are based.

might need a bit of updating such as the part of the companies and such but fundamentally its strong! Smile
