Thought I would start the battle board again over here.

As there hasn't been much activity in battles with the CAF and we're a pretty tight group, I thought it might be fun and helpful if we tried to fight together.

The idea here is, if you are going to fight, try to post when and where in this thread. Then anyone else who sees it will have a chance to join you. Also you should post where they can find you, either in IRC chat or on this page's chat.

I can tell you it is a lot more fun to fight together.

I see there's a fight in China now. I've been holding off on fighting when it's just for training, but I could be persuaded if any one else wants a partner (or maybe even a squad.) I'm artillery.

All the recent battles we've had have been a total waste of time. Training wars don't seem to work any more. Both sides need to be relatively well balanced or there is simply no one to attack.

I'll start fighting in nine minutes
That's 8:00pm est I think.
I did okay, won a few dozen rank points. Finally taken out by a gang.
I'm 40 health now but I could be persuaded to use health packs if there is a squad on later. Off for supper now.(8:30) est. (I think)

Finally, with only seconds left, we won the battle in Scotland. The redeploy rule has not yet been changed so I was in a poor position when I redeployed again.
One thing we need is to decide what com channel we will use during battle. I tried to use #ecan and was told to take strategic chat to a private channel. I tried to use #cpf and no one else who was on was fighting. I tried to use the chatroom here and was abandoned. That is demoralizing. So, I say again, if the Praetor's are to grow, we need a clear communication channel to be set. And Addy should tell us what it is.

I gotta say I really like the idea of using the CPF chat box. People would need to get use to it but... it would be great advertising for CPF. We could invite non-members and it gives them incentive to join. I know I'm not in the Praetors but would love to be able to join you guys when I'm able.

The chatbox will be fine, I like that idea too.

The other option is a channel on Teamspeak. The Crimson Canucks use this and its WAY COOL.

I'll look into getting a channel.
