Guys, I have a question to ask. I made an analysis of the controversy in the threads that JB Furglar started regarding congressional election strategy. It's long and contains several quotes to illustrate my ideas about the use of language in that 'debate'. I decided not to publish or post it, however, because Addy cut through the complications with his GTFO statement.

Some people in the other forum were asking for more information about what happened. My question then is, should I post it here or let the past lie quiet? And if the answer is to post, which segment of the forum would be the best one to post to?

i dont see a reason why people who want to know what happened should be deprived of the truth.

maybe the general chat section or the media center? dont know for sure

I have mixed feelings. To a certain extent, people should mind their own business.

On the other hand, the CPF has been accused of being stand-offish in the past and this would dispel that.

Transparency is important, go ahead and post it.

My biggest issue was that Crazy's lead was being challenged. There is no impeach button for PP however, people REALLY discourage pushing the impeach button for CP. If someone wins the PP, particularly as convincingly as Crazy did, you should follow his lead. That wasn't going on.

Ironically, the same thing happened with Acacia. He wanted to go one way and there were several people undermining him and going another way.

Yea I'd say post it, there really wasn't anything there strong enough for Crazy to quit, I even talked to him in the midst of that and asked about his feeling towards some of us just suggesting minor chances as I, curtis and exalted did. He said no it was fine he actually encouraged what we were doing, to just bring in some suggestions and update minor points. Where stuff broke down I have no idea. This is why I'm still confused about alot of this, for the most part we were working with him, most of us were anyway.
Regardless Good to see you alive and kicking Addy, if you missed it I'm in to take you on in the next PP. Oh and I'll have a beer thanks. =)

Also I was going to ask a question. Last month with Jbd's absence we called a moderator for pp elections to make certain calls and communicate them to party. Are we doing that this month or is Addy doing it as steward? Don't really matter either way, just wanted to know.

Surly that thread was not the fuse that set Crazy off. My God there have better been more to it. I do note that Sara or Furglar have not said a peep since just before the melt down.

I voted early today. Acacia was ahead. 48% of the votes as I recall. I worked at the newly opened Praetor Rifles too. The crew seemed pretty happy yah. Got a sense we all felt we were building something strong and worth while.
